WE DID IT!!

WE  DID  IT!

The saga set off by 4 County Supervisors’ ill-advised ploy to award themselves a titanic 33% pay raise is nearing an end.

On Tuesday, Dec 30th, coalition partners collated and prepared our internal count of petition signatures.  All is set for us to turn the sheets over to the county.

On Friday, January 2nd at 10:00am, we will officially deliver the signatures to the county.  This will take place in front of the County Admin Building located at 651 Pine Street, Martinez, CA.

Come join us, one and all!  This was a countywide effort.  Everyone deserves to partake in the moment: labor groups, taxpayers groups, elected officials who endorsed our campaign, and most importantly, the tens of thousands of voters and constituents who supported us.

Let’s show our unity once more and make sure Karen Mitchoff, Mary Peipho, Federal Glover, and John Gioia hear us loud and clear!
