WCWD MEU Contract Ratified!

On September 11, 2018, the West County Wastewater District Managerial Employees Unit ratified their contract. See enhancements to their MOU below:

  • Term is September 2018 to June 2021
  • Members may now sell 40 hours of accumulated vacation leave for pay each year.
  • Out of class pay for our members is now triggered when they work one half day in the higher class–this was previously triggered only upon them working a full day in the higher class.
  • There is now an added $ allowance from the District for wellness/fitness activities and continuing education/certifications– not required, but related to the job classes of our members.

  • COLA:  4% – July 2018; 3% – July 2019; 3% – July 2020

  •  PERS….this is the one “give”: Members pay 8% (up from 7%) toward PERS.
